HELPPPPPPPPPP: is it against the rules to wear jewelry in high school tennis?

PLEASE ANSWER THIS!!! i wear a ring for high school tennis and it is NOT gawdy its just a plain silver band, but my coach always makes me take it off. so yeah. is there even a RULE against this?! i mean come on...my ring isnt gonna fly off and hit my opponent in the eye.

The reason I think your coach told you to take off your ring is the same reason why my weightlifting instructor tells me to take off my watch, it just gets in your way and you wouldn't want to look after anything while you're playing.

There is no rule against it and I think your coach shouldn't be mad if you wear it, but I think it's better if you take it off for your own sake.
