I have no idea what i should buy first.. i have 6 months till my wedding and all i have is the church reserved (for sure)..
so just getting an idea of how much a nice wedding is..

we are having no more than 130 guests.. and planning on spending no more than $7,000...

my budget will be about $6000
Photographer - $1000 (only because that is the cheapest i can find and don't want to go amature)
Venue -$165 (plus $100 for hire of drinking glasses)
Catering - $1300
Beverages - around $700
ceremony - around $200
Decoratioins - (including favours) $300 max
We've been engaged for almost a month, planning to get married on the anniversary of our engagement, i have already bought my dress down to $450 from $1150, couldn't walk away, but my mum bought that for me. We're only having people who we're really close to at our wedding and are therefore only having about 60 guests, however our bridal party will probably have about 8 people in it.
If you look around i'm sure you can have a beautiful wedding for that price!! I'm hiring a hall and decorating myself for ours and hiring a caterer because they could do it for half the price of a venue, and for EXACTLY the same thing. I'm also making my own wedding cake - we're having cupcakes!!
ADD: .... to smiling ... how many people actually have their parents pay for their wedding these days?!!? my mum bought my dress (which i'll probably pay her for anyways) because she loved it just as much as i did and it was on sale, seeing as i had paid out $2500 to get my teeth pulled out 2 days before hand, i didn't have any moneyfor it
