How can I get my wedding veil clean again?

My MIL made my veil for me, it turned out great, but when she gave it to me to bring home, it looks slightly yellow. Im assuming from the ciggarette smoke in her home. I thought maybe it was the lighting at first, but in comparison to the gown, its a pretty significant difference. It still has a little of a smoke smell after airing it out, but im getting married in 2 weeks, and need it to look bright white! Please only answer if you have a serious response. I really have no clue how to help the color without destroying the fabric. Thanks.
